coffee and cakes

Today’s coffee and cakes morning was a great success. We’re still adding up the cash but we’ve raised a tidy sum for Bliss (the premature baby charity) and our local neonatal intensive care unit. It’ll all help ex-foxmurphyite Caroline with her fundraising mission.

Big thanks must go to Zara for organising the event and cake-making kudos goes to Claire E, Becs, Shannon and Ange.

the new frontier

Online_map

Is the internet a 'place'? Argue amongst yourselves but these folks think it is. This little map of Online Communities has been created from website user numbers. It's pretty clever.

(We found this here).

BSM drives the stars

Sienna

Lee spotted this last night (we didn't have him down as a Star magazine reader)! The new look BSM cars have recently got a lot of attention, but this time it was the good-looking celebrity inside that pulled the crowds. Still, we were happy to see that Sienna picked our client as her driving instructor of choice.

We won an award on Friday evening at the Chartered Institute of Marketing Norfolk and Suffolk Marketing Excellence Awards. Our Norfolk County Council 'Don’t Be a Loser' campaign got Consumer Campaign of the Year. We got rather a nice trophy but, more importantly, it's about recognition for all of those that worked on the campaign. Good job folks.

There wasn't just one photo of Scott playing rugby in the paper, but three. At least we know those guns aren't just for show.

We took our RAC Marketing clients out for a bit of a social...starting on the heady slopes of Trowse. Strapped onto skis and wearing oh-so-necessary crash helmets, we soon found out who had skiing legs. Not that any grandeurs of professionalism lasted once the apres-ski kicked off...

more posing than painting?

Some of us went along to the Matthew Project this week to help them redecorate their reception. It was the first of our SOS Day projects that we get involved in to Show Our Support to the local community. There were times when it looked like we'd get more paint on each other than on the walls, but the end product was a good job.

beach football, anyone?

Bob models items from a recent photoshoot we did for RAC. But perhaps a smaller size is in order...?

the recycle cycle

Environmental_002

Today we had our second 6 monthly audit for ISO14001 to ensure we're implementing our EMS as we said we would. The great news is we’ve passed and are good for another 6 months.

Without wanting to sound too much like an Oscar speech, special thanks are due to Janet S, who keeps it all on track day to day, Keith who regularly delves into rubbish bins for the cause, our 'green police' who do spot checks, all who have helped with posters/stickers etc and everyone for separating and recycling their waste. A great team effort.
