  • We don't currently have any vacancies but if you're really keen on working for us, send your cv to sian@foxmurphy.com and we'll take a look at it. We're also always happy to hear from experienced freelancers in all creative disciplines (concept, copy, art direction, artwork).

finals night

Darts_final_001

We've listened to Martyn brag and boast about his darts skills since the competition started. It's just as well he won then otherwise he might have been left with egg on his face! A good night was had by all, plenty of beer was consumed and plenty of darts thrown. Grant and Dom won the Doubles cup so congratulations go to them too, who bagged themselves some lovely Asda vouchers.

studio social

Studio

Studio went out for dinner and drinks last night. Fun was had by all, despite how it looks in the picture. It's just a shame we didn't get a picture of Dan's Rambo impression...apparently it was show-stopping.

fast Frannie

Frannie_009

This morning, following a meeting at a Porsche dealership, Frannie was allowed to take a Boxster out for a spin (they omitted to ask about her driving record)! We think she looks far too comfortable behind the wheel of such an expensive motor. So Frannie, can money buy happiness?!

bullseye

We're not sure when darts became cool, but somewhere along the line they did. At Foxmurphy, we've not only got one darts board, but TWO (which means we can't go in the staff room for fear of flying metal)!

Our internal league (yes, really) is now coming to a close which will culminate in Friday night drinks sometime soon. We'll let you know who gets the trophy.

Dscn1106

It looks like Martyn G is so far the only one to score a 180...

cool as ice

Ice_2

Several times a year, we ask everyone here to nominate those we think really go 'above and beyond' in their work. We then all vote on which of those nominations deserve extra special recognition and we give them a prize.

We've run Awards for some time now but this is the first round of the ICE Awards, launched back in September. We decided it'd be a nice thing to announce the winners just before Christmas, so here they are...

ICEy Individuals

Sylve

1st place went to Sylve for 26 years of tidying up after us. Sylve was an out-and-out winner which goes to show how brilliant we think she is.

Neil_wright

2nd place went to Neil (who was in fact nominated three times!). He won for a great presentation to the Board, his help in bringing the Christmas party to life and, umm, for having "lovely hair".

Kool & The Gang

Jason_and_chris

1st place went to The IT Monkeys (aka Jason and Chris) for their expedient, friendly, non-complaining service (truth be told, it's the rest of us that are the monkeys when it comes to computers...)

Ange_chloe

2nd place went to Ange and Chloe for their willing and wily receptionist ways.

Our Group Scoop Award went to Healthshield for supplying such a great package of benefits. (Free massages never get boring...)

Congratulations to you all, we're very proud.

the Christmas bash

Del_boy_001

We had a great time last night. Thanks to Wilf and Squint for providing the Cockney music. Thanks to Geoff and his staff at the Mischief for being most accommodating. Thanks to Frannie, Neil and Jodie for organising the bash. Thanks to the Board for funding it. Thanks to Del Boy for making us laugh. Thanks to the bouncer for keeping our party exclusive. Thanks to Tony, our mad DJ. Thanks to those brave souls that sang karaoke...

And a massive thanks to everyone for getting right into the Christmas spirit! Happy Christmas all!

Christmas Cockney Knees-up

Fm_xmas_invite

It's our Christmas party tonight! We're working hard to get everything finished so we can go and let our hair down. The 'secret squirrels' haven't told us much about what to expect, but we're predicting a bit of a kitsch, knees-up affair in a traditional old boozer. We'll tell you more about it tomorrow...

blink - and you might miss him...

Tom_carter

This is our Tom, cutting a fine figure as an Edwardian gentleman. He doesn't dress like this all the time, but last weekend he was being filmed as an extra in My Talks With Dean Spanley.

Tom enjoyed it so much that he'll be doing a horror flick in February...how long before we see him opposite Angelina Jolie?!

Aviva party

Fm_aviva_party_030

We invited our Norwich Union and RAC clients along for a few Christmas drinks last night. We hired out Orgasmic, where the pink tequilas and the sambuca flowed freely... Needless to say, there are more than a few hungover colleagues today!

Above are our clients Lisa, Alex and Christina with our Dan and Gemma. Caroline and Claire are the lovely ladies in the second picture.

side by side

Our_work_in_the_edp_dec_2007

It's not often we see two pieces of our work in the paper side by side like this... In today's EDP, there's our PR piece featuring our client Targetfollow next to our advert for Adnams Cellar & Kitchen (free bubbly? Lovely!)

PRide

Well, the social season has well and truly kicked off! Last night, Kayla, Helen, Scott, Nat, Lou and Rachel went to the PRide Awards (the Chartered Institute of Public Relations regional awards). Accompanying them was Jonathan, John and Christine, our clients from Merial. They helped us celebrate when we were announced a named finalist for our National Flea Week campaign (it was nominated for Best Consumer Award).

Foxmurphy also won the Gold Award for 'Don't Be A Loser' in the Best Public Sector category. James and Steve were with us to pick up the prize.

birthday bash

Aw_media_party_004

Congratulations to AW Media who celebrate their 20th anniversary this year! Ashley, Anna, Jean and Jakki were glad to be invited to their celebratory bash, held last night at the Dali Gallery (although the bar proved a bigger attraction than the art). This is Jean and Anna with Steven - after a few glasses of champagne by the look of it...

Load the Lorry 2007

Well done to Katherine who single-handedly managed the foxmurphy contribution to this year's Load the Lorry campaign in Norwich. She made sure that the shoe boxes we contributed were jam-packed with treats for the Romanian children who will receive them, just in time for Christmas.

There's not many people that would forsake their Sunday morning lie-ins. But this little lot were up and had the bacon on by 6.30am. And they were even smiling about it.

They were feeding sixty hungry Sixth Formers who were on a sleepout in the Norwich Cathedral Cloisters. It was all in aid of the Mancroft Advice Project. Thanks Carole, Chris, Ian, Ange, Sophie, Ashley, Richard B, Lou and Luke (Luke doesn't actually work for us, but if Carole's getting up early, then so is her fiance!)

gold!

We got the gold in the Cream Awards last night! We really like this work  - lovingly referred to as 'Bod' - so it's really nice to see it win. Congrats to all involved!

Cream recognises the best of creativity in the regions and it just goes to show that not all great creative work comes out of London, there's plenty of it all emanating from all round the country.

Four hungover colleagues are bringing the Award home as we speak. Although judging from the photos, we might be lucky if they make it ...
